SCREENWRITING AND FILMMAKING
My name is Kate. I love stories. My older brother and best friend, Luke, loves stories, too.
We outlined a Pirates of the Caribbean sequel on a hike in California. He read my first novel when I only knew how to rip-off Harry Potter. Our favorite tradition is to watch Captain America: the Winter Solider. But we also both value philosophy, theory, and the study of behavior for the purpose of personal growth and divine connection.
An 8th-century monk who struggles with gluttony. Two sisters and the behavior they inherited from their domineering father. A man tasked with maintaining an estate but unwilling to evict those who threaten to deface it. Perlot and Bros produces these films and others like them with the belief that stories have a responsibility to make us think, in addition to making us feel.
We plan to produce short- and feature-length films which each explore and expand on a particular concept implanted within rich, novel worlds and experienced by grounded, relatable characters. We commit to annually producing a limited amount of media to preserve the intentionality of our storytelling and the integrity of our productions.
